Hair Care
The Miessence Hair Care range does not contain any harsh detergents, industrial surfactants, petroleum based synthetic chemicals or silicone derivatives.
The "foaming agent" used in the shampoos is polyglucose, a "non-ionic surfactant*" (foaming agent) made from coconut and glucose from corn.
Polyglucose has excellent dermatological compatibility and is very mild on the skin. Based on the Duhring Chamber Test it has the lowest irritation score of all common surfactants tested. (So it is ALSO probably the best choice for sensitive, delicate skin or those with skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis). It is completely free from harmful contaminants AND has a very low environmental impact as it is highly bio-degradable. Manufactured from completely renewable vegetable based materials.

Me and my friends had been using the shampoo and conditioner and we were not happy with Miessence hair products at the beginning. After 2 months of the detox process I really had amazing results: I am not hairdresser dependent anymore, I don’t need a blow dry in order to have shiny hair. So I save money and, more importantly, I don’t poison my body with chemicals and silicone.

After trying your products, I was very happy with the results. Miessence products are truly of the best quality and are EFFECTIVE. I bought the shampoo and conditioner, and after just the first wash my hair was literally smoother and healthier looking. And the Jaffa lip balm, it wasn't thick or oily, and it has a pleasant taste that wasn't overpowering. Now it's my favourite lip balm! I'm looking forward to trying other Miessence products.

I was a little skeptical about the shampoo after reading the testimonial from the person who stated that it made her hair "knotty." I'm a black woman and that was the last thing I wanted even for a short period of time. I use Relaxers to smooth out my hair and so "knotty" hair made me cringe.
However, these products have made my hair feel softer, given it a beautiful sheen and totally stopped the shedding that I was experiencing from the relaxer and other hair chemicals and the dry climate in Las Vegas. Not to mention the fact that I further dry my hair out by swimming frequently.
Commercial hair products recommended by my hair stylist only did a fair job in resolving some of my hair problems, but your products have totally resolved the problems. Thank you so much…

Just wanted to let you know that your Protect B5 Hair Repair works an absolute treat on sunburn!!!!
I tried it on the weekend after getting quite badly sunburned on the arms. All the redness was gone by the next morning which is extremely unusual for my fair skin.
